Should we be expecting a 2008 draft kit?

yeah unfortunately we were not able to put together a draft kit this year, just no time. I hated not being able to do it, but obviously we have to put our priorities where the bills get paid.

Is there a way for us to insert our own player projections into this file and have the program update the information? Obviously there migh tbe players no longer active or players no listed. Its a start though.

I really don't know how hard it would be to replace the player data manually in the 2007 compiler, it was designed to automatically import the data. I imagine you can do it, but I have never tried.

yea that will be great but some1 has to find a way to do that and teach us lols then we could import it from any other site and theres also a password in those file.

Unfortunately we lost the RotoChamps projections, but I have managed to update the Cheatsheet Compiler & Draft Buddy for 2008, and just uploaded it to my website, right here.

It includes projections from CBS Sportsline ... yeah, I know, but they are free and a good jumping off point. You can always adjust the projections or player rankings as necessary.

At any rate, for those who have been waiting for the Compiler & Buddy, thanks for you patience. Although I did say previously I wasn't going to make any feature changes for 2008 (for the time being), I did make a couple of key improvements to Draft Buddy. Cheers.

thanks man i tried to find a way to upload projection of other sites but was able to find out how lols. and i also notice ur complier from last yr has a pw in it and was just wondering if all the secret formula was hidden in there. can i ask how u adjust the projections or player rankings??

Hey Simon. There are a couple ways you can get away from the default projections/rankings.

1. Projections - All you need to do here is, in the Compiler, go to the hitters or pitchers tab, and in the yellow section with the 2008 projections change them as you see fit by typing over the existing projections. Just make sure to not hit Update Projections or this will wipe out your edits. Hit Compile Cheatsheets for the changes to take effect.

2. Rankings - This is the most popular method. Run the Compiler based on the projections and then run Setup Draft Buddy. Now, in Buddy go to the hitters or pitchers tab, scroll to the right to the cheatsheet with the yellow boxes on them. Change the ranking numbers and/or dollar values (depending on league type), and then hit the appropriate re-rank position button. This will move players up and down the rankings as you see fit, without having to mess with the projections. Similar to above, if you run Setup Draft Buddy again then it will wipe out your ranking changes.
